The Kadima Conservatory Philharmonic has been invited to play a memorial concert for Curt Lowens at the beautiful Sabon Theater on the evening of January 19th, 2018. They will be playing "Bestemming", a concerto for Cello, Orchestra & Narrator, by Sharon Farber, an esteemed Isreali composer who lives in LA. This concerto was written as a tribute to Curt Lowens, who rescued Jewish children in hiding during World War II.
KCP will also be joined by the AJU Choir under the direction of Noreen Green for their songs. This is an opportunity of a musical lifetime! This Concerto is being premiered world wide, and KCP is the ONLY non-professional orchestra playing at a level high enough & worthy enough to play this music. This will be a recorded event. Mazal Tov and Congratulations KCP on being chosen for this musical honor!
The concert is open to the public. Admission to this once-in-a-lifetime concert is FREE. Kadima families will have a reserved section in the audience. Please contact Beth via email to let her know how many seats will be needed.
