Kadima String Quartet

The Kadima String Quartet's repertoire is notable for its diversity with a palette ranging from Mozart to Led Zeppelin. New works by several contemporary composers, including 20th Century Fox, have been commissioned specifically for the Quartet.

The Kadima String Quartet

The Kadima String Quartet currently sits in residence at the Kadima Conservatory of Music and the Kadima Consortium. In early 2008, the Kadima String Quartet also became sitting artists in residence at Los Angeles Valley College. Faculty and students from both the college and the conservatory collaborate regularly to enhance music education and the performance experience for all.

The Quartet places an emphasis on their pedagogical role as well as their role as professional musicians structuring their work around the motto "You play, and you pass it on". As educators they are actively involved in outreach programs and music education in the Southern California area, specifically in partnership with the Kadima Conservatory.

The ensemble members teach privately, coach chamber groups as well as the Jr. Philharmonic, Senior Philharmonic, and the Kadima Conservatory Philharmonic. In addition to their rigorous performance schedule, they also perform more than 75 children's concerts annually. The Kadima String Quartet were winners of the prestigious Coleman Chamber Music Outreach Concert Award in 2001 and 2003.
